LaCie is shutting down its Wuala secure cloud storage service.
The LaCie subsidiary posted notification to discontinue service as of 15 November, 2015. Wuala customers have until then to move data off the service before the service is shut down and all data deleted.
The notice said customers who have an active prepaid annual subscription will be eligible to receive a pro-rated refund for unused subscription fees. Neither Wuala nor LaCie gave a reason for the shutdown. The full notice can be found here.
