TP-LINK is shipping an improved version of the HomePlug AV2 MIMO adapter shown at CES 2015.
The TL-PA8030P KIT AV1200 3-Port Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Starter Kit has the same built-in Gigabit Ethernet switch and HomePlug AV2 MIMO innards as the TL-PA8030 announced at January's CES 2015.
But this new kit, which is shipping earlier than the Q3 date stated at CES, has a filtered pass-through outlet rated up to 16A.

Its 1200 Mbps spec indicates the TL-PA8030P is likely based on Qualcomm Atheros' QCA7500.
